Things are heating up in the battle of the GPU midrange. AMD has released the Radeon RX 9060 XT 16GB, a card that JPR’s sister site BabelTechReviews (BTR) stated “is designed to dominate the 1080p landscape and provide surprising strength at 1440p, especially with the help of the newly matured FSR 4.”

BTR was anxious to take the card for a spin and got the chance with an XFX Radeon RX 9060 XT 16GB test unit, which the reviewers at BTR said “represents AMD’s push to deliver more VRAM, better ray tracing, and a modern feature set at a reasonable price.”

In a market cluttered with 8GB GPUs pushing $400, they called this $349 contender “a breath of fresh air.”

Their assessment comes after a thorough review of the product. They provide detailed specs of the card, and then take a deep dive into its performance under real-world scenarios.
